

Dr. Grace Sun graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1981.
Dr. Sun routinely utilizes multiple wavelengths of dental lasers to improve the quality of service to her patients. Her articles on dental lasers have been published in Dental Clinics of North America. Dr. Sun is also certified as Advanced Proficiency and was awarded Educator status by the Academy of Laser Dentistry where she was a member of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Sun has lectured internationally on the subjects of Laser and Cosmetic Dentistry. She is also a visiting Professor of the Mexican Institute of Biomedical Technology.
Dr. Sun is an accredited Fellow with American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry -- one of only 40 dentists who have achieved this distinguished award among its almost 8000 members. Dr. Sun is a master of the Academy of General Dentistry, which only less than 1% of its 35,000 members have achieved -- one of the highest honors. Dr. Sun is the only person who has achieved both of these highest honors with the two most distinguished education-oriented organizations.
Dr. Sun is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Facial Esthetics and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Sun was named by her peers as America's Top Dentist. She is an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Educator, and Advanced Proficiency Certified with Academy of Laser Dentistry Master of Academy of General Dentistry Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Sun is active in her continuing efforts to educate herself on implant surgery.
Dr. Sun has been a member of the American Association for Functional Orthodontics since 1985. She also completed the St. Luke's Medical Center Hospital Laser Certification Program in October 1998. In February 1999 Dr. Sun became MASTER of the Academy of Laser Dentistry as well as Certified Dental Laser Educator. Dr. Sun served as mentor at the Laser Educator Training course held at University of California San Francisco, October 2000.
Dr. Sun is the contributing author of the "Lasers and Light Amplification in Dentistry" chapter within the book The Dental Clinics of North America, Published in October 2000 by W. B. Sanders Co.
