• Dr. Sun attended USC School of Dentistry, graduating
in 1981.
• Dr. Sun became a member of the American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 1985. She achieved AAccredited
Member status in October of 1987. In February 1995 she became
one of only five members to be elected to Fellowship out of
the 2,200. Today there are 29 Fellows out of 5000 dentist-members
worldwide. She is actively participating in the annual scientific

• In February 1999 Dr. Sun became MASTER of the Academy
of Laser Dentistry as well as Certified Dental Laser Educator.
• Dr. Sun served as mentor at the Laser Educator Training
course held at University of California San Francisco, October
2000.
• Dr. Sun is the contributing author of the
"Lasers and Light Amplification in Dentistry" chapter within
the book The Dental Clinics of North America, Published in October
2000 by W. B. Sanders Co.
